Reports are surfacing around the internet very quickly of a 27 year old Amy Winehouse being found dead in her apartment this morning. Of course the talented singer's death is being written off as something drug related based on previously reported issues. Apparently her father is still in the dark as he is currently on a plane heading to the next destination for his jazz festival. Naturally as a fan, and friend of many other die-hard Winehouse fans, naturally I'd love for this to be some other sort of stunt pulled by either media or even Winehouse herself. Cruel...but if it means a new album release I'll take it. But thus far it appears this is not some mistaken twitter report. *SIGH* My sincere condolences to her family and friends...and other fans. May she rest in music.
